----- Wild beers with local, organic and foraged ingredients. We love to work with 'forgotten' and heirloom varieties. Many of our beers are aged on oak barrels. We aim to create dry, refreshing and complex ales with subtle and balanced flavours.

9. Dorstige Driftkop - Brouwerij Doesburgh
Doesburg, Netherlands
Brouwerij Doesburgh - Dorstige Driftkop- Established in 2015. Father (Roel) and son (Maarten), believe Doesburg should have its own beer brewery. With their great-great-grandfather (Wilhelm Feltmann) they have a serious brewing background, since Wilhelm was the "master brewer and technical director of Heineken between 1869-1897" (The magic of Heineken, M.G.P.A. Jacobs W.H.G. Maas, 2001). After 7 years we achieved everything we wanted and decided to stop at our peak. The brewery has been happily transferred to "Het Arsenaal 1309" in Doesburg, where brewing activities continue.
10. Stadsbrouwerij Wageningen
Wageningen, Netherlands
Brewing in freedom. Young and locally oriented nano brewery. Brewing small batches we developed 20+ delicious beers over the last 4 years. At the end of 2015 we opened up our brewpub 'CafΓ© Rad van Wageningen' where we serve our locally produced beers plus some samples of other beers. For non beer drinkers we have a modest list of (good dutch) wines, stronger liquors and many other beverages. Don't forget the crafty pubmeals on friday or saturday. (Local Dutch brewer with description in English; because in the city of Wageningen we have lot's of foreign customers)
